    For Rudolph fans

"Over the course of the following 14 weeks, the Steelers will play not only all five of the teams who selected a quarterback in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, but also the five teams who currently possess and intend to start those quarterbacks. I dubbed this the Mason Rudolph revenge tour ..."

I’ve always had a chip. That’s kind of how I was raised”, he said. “I love football and I’m passionate about it. I’m gonna celebrate, I’m gonna have fun, I’m gonna try to be a catalyst for this offense, for this team. That’s who I’ve always been, and I’m not gonna change from that”.

Mayfield, Rosen, Darnold, Allen and Jackson. All drafted ahead of Rudolph in 2018.

Likewise - I don’t think it was meant to come out that way, but just amused me he’s talking about the importance of practicing on Wednesday etc

Rudolph's chances just got better. The Steelers announced today that Moncrief is benched and Dionte Johnson is getting his first NFL start.

I'm very happy to see them bench Moncrief, but why not start Washington? Wouldn't that help Rudolph?

How did you find that passive aggressive? I thought it was a positive comment.

These coaches are moronic. Mason has only thrown how many completions to Washington? Don't you think they know each others game inside and out?

Bens the best QB in Steelers history but let’s hope Mason is beginning his great career.

I was excited when they drafted Ben. I just knew he would be the one to finally get our boys #5. I don't have the same feeling with Mason but I do love the attitude. I have written off this season when it comes to playoffs but am very excited to see how the young man pans out. No way he has the players Ben had when he took over. Have to hope big time our receivers catch the damn ball. He won't have a great rushing attack either.

    GOOD LUCK YOUNG WARRIOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cant speak for him but I get the feeling the passive agressive nature was reference to Ben . It was a positive comment and I dont think he meant any slight at all to BEn

It was - just after the various comments about Ben’s practice regime and film study, it was like Mason was claiming all the things Ben’s been criticised for not doing. As I said earlier, I don’t think it was intended that way at all, I was just messing.

I am sanguine about Mason's upcoming performance. Your wise words have tempered my optimism. As you say; he does not have the offensive weapons, Ben had when he took over. Nor will he have the support of a strong defense. Nonetheless I am hopeful he will progressively improve with each game. However, way inside me is the hope he will have a seriously kick arse winning game this Sunday. :smiley1:
