No he said what's his name will get reps this week. I said it's a meaningless game that they will look to protect the projected starters.

He’s making $5MM to carry a clipboard and you are calling him a dunce

No one else would pay him that

He’s not making $5mil. Take a look around the league, Tyrod Taylor and Geno Smith are making similar money, and are far older. Hell, Half this board is creaming over what Josh Dobbs is doing in Cle. Mason could have signed somewhere else. Somewhere that would given him a chance to compete. But he chose to stay and get jerked around by the Steelers. Therefore: Dunce

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Rudolph sign an extension nearly a year before the team signed Trubisky? Doesn't it stand to reason then, that at the time Rudolph thought he had a good shot at being Bens successor? That doesn't sound like a dunce move to me.

I had a talk with my wife prior to moving about our yard sale. She said how come you’re able to sell more than me? I said because you overvalue things your trying to get rid of. Nothing is worth anymore than what someone is willing to give you. If it had any value it wouldn’t be on the table in the first place and whatever you can get is better than goose egg. Plus it’s o e less thing to haul and that haul was a pain in the ass hahahahaha

Even with an average NFL caliber tackle that they might get in a trade for Rudolph, they are not a playoff team unless they get incredibly lucky like they did last year. A decent tackle isn't going to change that. A fourth-round pick or higher? I'd consider it.

Mason Rudolph catches far too much crap from this fan base for the shape this team is in. At least that is the vibe I get. And I'm not over valuing him. He'll be a decent NFL back-up, nothing more. Blame Tomlin, ARII, the scouting department and Kevin Colbert. They were the ones that whistled past the graveyard while the offensive line aged out. They refused to spend high round draft picks or to pursue legitimate big name free agents to rebuild the line. So, this is the mess we get to watch trying to protect our QB's and trying to open holes for our RB's. It is what it is. Trading Rudolph, Claypool plus whatever isn't going to fix it.

Isn't that what has made Pawn Stars such a hit? They have people come in with something they hold value for, they get it appraised and find out they could get 1500 bucks for it and then the owners of the pawn shop say yeah I'll never have anyone buy it for that much. Always makes me wonder why they even bother have the "expert" look at something. My bother in law actually went to the shop in Vegas and he said its kinda of trashy and everything seen on the show that he buys is still there.

Side tip for you and the wife, had a coworker tell me he did this 20 years ago at his garage sales. He'd have bags of clothes under the cashout table under a tablecloth and went people came up to pay he'd ask if they wanted a bag and then stuff unwanted clothes in the bag with the stuff they purchased just to get rid of stuff. I thought yep there is someone who is thinking about dumping stuff and not about making a profit.

If you live on the south you have tunnels and bridges

Years ago when I moved back I showed my house hunting wife a map of Pittsburgh

I told her north of the Allegheny and Ohio

    No tunnels no bridges

    Nice to have you back

Mason Rudolph reminds me of Kent Graham, only Mason is more inconsistent.

Nah, Mason is a lot better than Graham, after signing as a free agent Cowher started him one game, he was that bad IIRC.
