Mason & Ben comparison for 1st three game actions

Interestingly they both played Cincinnati for their 3rd game action.

A bit unfair to Mason. Quite a bit of variables here. Here are the three biggest ones that stick out to me personally:


Different coaches is the first reason. Different player personnel being the other reason. The biggest reason this is an unfair comp.?!


Different Era's. The 2000s was about formation based weaknesses. 2010s onward?! Personnel matchups became the new normal.


Big Ben thrived in his Era for his reasons. Mason is thriving in his own for his own reasons. Too early to compare.

 

Just what I thought. Mason has played better in these first 3 games than Ben did stat wise. Not to mention he does not have a HOF receiver nor a HOF RB at his disposal not to mention the best defense in the league.

So, I give it to Mason at this moment in time. Of course he is going to throw a bad game or two in there but right now, Mason looks pretty good with a crummy defense if you ask me.
