I was reading over at the Depot and they spoke of a little snipit of a quote Ed Bouchette said in his chat.

Leading one to think Bryant has a hip injury.

    What say you??

Well in week 13 2015 he was listed as probable with a hip injury, this could explain why the team drafted Ju Ju in the second round maybe they know more than they are willing to go public with, but for what it's worth here is the steeler depot article on Bouchett:

I hope it's not a big issue but this is just a sample of one of the uncontrollable things I had mentioned in an earlier post that can occur to prevent the Steelers from winning the SB this year and this is very early in the season. Stay tuned, I'm afraid more will happen through the season, it always does.
I still hope with all I have that the Steelers win number 7 this year but, to be honest, I don't see it happening. Hope I'm wrong.

I think they grabbed Juju because he was first round talent at the bottom of the second round...

I didn't see anything wrong with his hip when he ran that 4.27 40 he posted on instagram a few weeks ago. Maybe just a training issue, that needs some TLC??

Until we know specifics, it's very difficult to speculate how this may affect his season or even career. Could be a simple trochanteric bursitis (which I've had. Painful as hell and you literally cannot lift your leg or even slide it forward to walk). But that usually clears up in a few days with a cortisone shot, rest, and ice and you're back to good as new quickly after with some exercise. Hip flexor strains can be mild and only need a couple weeks to severe and need months to recover. I forget the term, but there's an impingement condition with the hip that can require surgery and up to a year recovery (or never).

What was it that shortened Bo Jackson's career? Some sort of dislocation that caused him to need a hip replacement? Let's all pray it's not that. (Looked it up. It's called Subluxation)

If he's developing arthritis in his hip, he can play, but it'll nag him his whole career and he'll be done sooner than later.

Let's hope it's something that he'll recover from by training camp.

it's all good, he'll score 16 TD's in the regular season and hunter gets superb coaching from richard mann as does juju and we set records for TD catches by a team. << i'm going with this. ;):smiley1::cool:
