perhaps a meeting with Mr. Harrison would help that scenario.

Hey. Management should tell him to fight for the ball and catch it when thrown to him and if he does, we will throw to him more.

So he can help us as he helps himself look better to other teams for a trade. There is a win-win here if Bryant is up to the task.

I`m thinking he really wants to go back to smoking some weed. He wants to look good this year, get a big contract somewhere else, then start smoking again and say goodbye to the NFL.

Coach put it best today: “Martavis’ role and number of targets are irrelevant, the problem is how he went about it on social media. I’ll speak privately with him directly about his role and let him know my judgement.” In other words, we run this team and we will decide what plays are called and when.

Let the guy go. He is unhappy with his situation which if we were in his shoes we may feel the same way.

Good. It's about time Tomlin disciplined the divas. Looks like Justin Hunter will get a hat on Sunday.

Say goodbye to MB. Somebody will claim him asap.

*My bad, thought the scout team and the practice squad were one and the same.

In the famous words of Rosanna Rosanna Danna, " Never mind."

This is his punishment for his impatience. This can also been seen as a chance to instill some humility and earn back trust from not just Mike Tomlin but the team as well.

As I said in another thread, I do not condemn those who have or have showcased forms of clinical depression. All I do want and hope for is that Martavis can learn his lesson and grow from it.

I wish him all the best and hope to see him again; more motivated the same.

Like to see Martavis get back on the right path to being a intregal part of the Steelers. I was fascinated with his play before his suspension.

So another team can literally pick him off of the practice squad? If that is the case some team will.. IMHO

    Well done, Mike.

Now, let's see how he handles this. It's a turning point. If he mans up, I hope he gets back on the field and rips it up. If he pulls this crap again, I hope they bury him in the depth chart so low that we put Chris Boswell on the outside before MB.

With this move we may have quite possibly seen Bryant's last play as a Steeler. I really don't think he has the maturity to overcome this with our organization. It seems like too many bridges have been burned at this point. I hope he can get his head right and return to our team some day but I have huge doubts about it.

He's not on the practice squad. He's still on the 53 man roster, just running with the other players that will be inactive on Sunday.

I'm not disagreeing with punishing MB,he's earned it. But history tells us that punishment means next to nothing to him. He got punished for a year, and he starts complaining a quarter of the way into the season. I doubt sitting a game and running with Landry and scout team will turn him around.

He feels like he's being slighted, he thinks none of it is his fault, he hasn't played all that well, but thinks he's a superstar. I don't know where this ends, but I can't see it ending well.

He seems pretty thin skinned. If that's the case he probably should stay off of social media but he says he's not. I just don't see things getting any better.
