I think DHB and AB will start as the outside WR'S ,Eli will be the starting slot WR ...Coates will spell DHB unless AB has problems getting off the line from Norman..If he does have problems they will move DHB or Coates to AB'S spot and put AB in the slot....If that formation starts working then I think they will then go double slot and let AB and Eli play the slots with Coates and DHB outside ...I actually like this formation a bunch against the skins , who knows they may go to it very early problems or not ???

AB can only be shut down by Norman plus one other player and/or official (as was the case vs Seattle). As long as the officiating crew observes the rules, someone will be open.

I do agree with PWP that if AB isn't getting free (due to the officials allowing mugging/holding), then AB should be put into the slot to give him room to move at the snap.

i agree the officials would be the only way that norman would shut down AB. i like our chances if AB gets double coverage but i hope ben buys into it. he likes his boy and has a tendency to force feed him when other targets are open. i'm hoping they give our TE's no credit and they have a big evening. then we have them scrambling to adjust. DW then comes into play as well as coates, DHB ( please catch the ball) and eli.

We have question marks on defense but so does the redskins. The media act like we can't put up points on the redskin's defense.
More fuel for the Steelers to play well

Yeah, hopefully this loss is not as damaging as I fear it could be. Me big Wheaton fan. But all the new guys are also promising.

Last year I wondered why James did not get much much more experience considering the near certain retirement situation.

Oh well, just one more reason the D better come to play.

Sidenote. I bet 90% of America will be watching Dallas this afternoon. If you have been watching the NFL network you will know what I am talking about. Pretty sure a number of
steeler fans were on this Dak Prescott to be drafted here last March. Heck, I might even root for him and even take off the whammy I put on Jerry Jones in 95.

Oh, also NFL network had a great interview with Mike Mitchell. He was outstanding. Very informative. Looking forward to watching him Monday. GSG

We were rumored to be heavily pursuing Prescott until his DUI which I think was dismissed.

What was one a huge strength of this team is quickly turning into a weakness. Bryant being suspended hurt, but wasn't killer. Wheaton is capable of being a #2. Now he's hurt and we have to rely on DHB to be the #2? Eli? Coates?? All 3 are slot receivers at this point. I'm not trying to be negative at all, I still think this is one of the best teams in football but I am nervous about this WR corps.

Uh, do we even need Wheaton anymore? What could we get for him?

I guess he needs to play first to prove he is fully recovered from injury.
