It will be a crazy circus from the national media and fans if Pickett is our starter ahead of Wilson even if Pickett is great in the preseason....I mean, preseason mean nothing at this point

    Actually we didn’t

If you add up all 3 preseason games Pickett’s total playing time was less than one quarter

The entire offense and both QBs need extensive playing time

    Especially with a new OC

And none of this BS of people bitching about potential injury

Well when the brass met with him I’m sure part of the conversation was come here because let’s face it you will surely beat out KP for gods sake. Even in your declining state of play.

I am concerned about the MOF, but I’d be concerned about it with Pickett as well. Literally the only time he showed any ability or confidence to throw to the MOF was against a Bengals game plan that completely abandoned it. I had said repeatedly that I didn’t want Wilson, but I have 10x the confidence in Wilson executing an NFL offense than I do in Pickett.

LoL. Welcome to Mason's world KFP, but now everyone will say You got a fair shot. LoL. The one thing I like is it means no Fields at Qb.

Wouldn’t surprise me. He has been the consummate professional except for one slip up and considering he got surgery to get back on the field last season it’s not hard to see why he was salty.

Actually many scientists will tell you water is not wet, but if you are whining about how long it took you to read three sentences, that concept is going to be way beyond you.

If it is so crazy than why did Tomlin not start Kenny in last 2 games?
Because he stinks and has worst stats of any starter in the nfl.

Hmmmm Mason Rudolph, still avail-able... Sam Darnold is not.
Do I sign Feleipe or Mason?

I don't want to kick Mason in groin. I like him and was stoked on his college years.
    He just never impressed me.
    And apparently no one else.

Jokes aside, I do hope he finds a team.

I heard that, according to a report by NBC, several teams want him as their primary backup. In listening to DK's podcast this morning, he believes the door on Mason coming back is not completely closed at this point if Mason feels that there will truly be an open QB competition for the starting job in Pittsburgh. I don't know that I necessarily agree with that. I think the chances of him coming back to Pittsburgh are slim to none, unfortunately.

Because he wasn't 100 percent, he had been sitting for six weeks, and they went with the hot hand. I'm sorry you are too lost to understand that.

I can't see them re-signing Rudolph unless it ends up being a situation similar to last year. He's not starting over Wilson. He isn't a long-term answer, either, so I can't see them spending much above the minimum.

The team he finds could still be at vet minimum in Pittsburgh

And I would not be surprised to see Dobbs back

Dobbs was the guy Ben went to at the end of every series to review the iPad

Not sure if that showed up on tv but it was very clear live

And no problems between Mason and Russell

Tyrod Taylor, Jacoby Brissett, Sam Darnold and Gardner Minshew have all been signed but Rudolph is still standing there without a team. His options are dwindling down to coming back to the Steelers as a 3rd team QB or being out of the league.

Rudolph is probably better off signing as a back up elsewhere now... As big of a Rudolph fan as I am, it's hard to argue with the logic of signing Wilson considering the deal the Steelers got for him... & thank God they didn't sign the bears throw away in fields... If by some chance Rudolph stays he should be the backup to Wilson... That's clear to everyone who isn't a kfp die hard fanboy...

Why does a picture from 2019 matter?

I highly doubt the Steelers are going to spend much on Rudolph with Wilson and Pickett already in place. If he has to come slinking back to them again knowing the starting job is out of reach, that tells us that the league sees those three games at the end of last season as fool's gold.
