As nicely as I can say this....this shows You either never played, or you are having a problem wrapping Your head around that the Guys protecting Him, running the ball, and catching the ball are also 3rd, and 4th stringers. Tomlin knows this, but He also knows a bunch of people don't know this, and so He can say what He wants.

Rattler looked great in the Senior Bowl and was named MVP. Even more importantly was that he said he is glad that he had such a checkered college career because it taught him humility. He said when he first came out of HS he took his talent for granted and didn't put the work in that he should have. He said that he has matured and learned more from his failures than his success.

 

You cant judge Rattler playing behind a depleted SC offensive line. Rattler got the attributes to start on Sundays.
Also would rather have him than JJ McCarthy.

I've been following several sources about Mason's potential landing spot. Here is a summary of how it stands now: he is likely to return to Pittsburgh, but he may go somewhere else. He wants to return to Pittsburgh, but he wants to test the free agency market. He is comfortable in Pittsburgh where many of his teammates and friends are but he may want a fresh start elsewhere. Mason might return to Pittsburgh where the Steelers may get a good deal, but he may get more money elsewhere. Mason Rudolph is an upgrade over Kenny Pickett unless Kenny shows progression. I think that about sums of the clear as mud reporting from various sources.
