Mark Madden tweeted Bell facing suspension

Yeah I've only heard multiple tests as well. I'm also pretty sure that he failed an IQ test too. This is unconfirmed though.

 

i still have a lot of faith in touisant and DW. this high powered offense is looking a lot more average though. lots of new parts to get up to speed now and bens days are tick tick ticking away.

 

I think it might be time to consider putting Bell in a dark alley to spend a little quality time with James Harrison. It's obvious the league can't do anything with this moron. Maybe a little destructive criticism from Harrison would get his attention?

 

They are saying several but contradicting it by saying he missed a test which is just confusing.

The only reason I can think of for missing a test is you think you will fail if you take it.

I cannot understand it. Your whole life you work hard to get in the NFL, you get there knowing you cannot do weed, you know your career may be short and there is a brief chance to make a lot of money. So your do weed anyway? For what? Why, why?

Think the real issue is how many "I'm sorry" posts will Madden get now? Bell's excuse is that he could not make it to the test?

 

Getting put into the drug program due to weed is perhaps the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Destroying careers over a non-performance enhancing drug, a drug that is often used as medicine, is beyond ridiculous. The NFL shouldn't even be testing for weed under any circumstances.

 

Looks like Madden wasn't fed misinformation after all. Damn. Damn, damn, damn!

 

I have to admit that Mark saw this coming before any of us did. Martavis was more easy to gauge given his history... but I was under the impression that post Lagarette Blount and the arrival of William would lead Bell down the right path.


Now I am wondering if Blount really was the cause of his first suspension.

Players need to abide by the rules that they are under but I agree about the law. A player can't smoke weed but he can pick up a cheap bottle of Thunderbird....
