Was Marcus Gilbert falling and rolling into the legs of DeCastro and Pouncey the cause of their injuries? Marcus gilbert has to be one of the softest Tackle I ever seen.

It's a shame - I had high hopes for Gilbert after a relatively quiet but effective rookie year.

Maybe if they would get off this slide people around in camp BS they would have something ready for the regular season instead of having to rely of coming together during the games that matter.

They really didn't do that a lot this camp. Yeah, Gilbert played some at LT, but for the most part that middle 3 was pretty consistent: Colon/Pouncey and one of Foster or DeCastro.

I've thought Gilbert has been awful from the start. Opponents seem to get by him regularly, he has caused injuries to his own team and gets a good amount of penalties.

Gilbert should get some training wheels implanted while he's out. They come out when he's in trouble, just like Wolverine in X-man.

I like how it's Pouncey talking about Gilbert being out for awhile, I wonder if Pouncey did something to Gilbert, just to make sure that he'll be out for awhile :beathorse:

Yeah, I was just going to post that. Pouncey thinks it will keep him out a while.

Pouncey paid the Titans to take him out....The New Bounty program when a player is resonsible for 2 injuries to his own Team then his Team can take a bounty out on him....

I was just thinking about this in my head...wondering and all...yeah he fell on people...that happens at the line...players fall on players...it happens...it just happened to him a couple bad times and gets it noticed...if it werent for that nobody would be complaining...he hasnt been as bad as most claim.

Another idiot player who bashes fans. What's wrong with this team? I don't recall players in the past doing this. We have Ike running his mouth constantly, and now Gilbert going after fans. Shut your mouth and produce on the field and the fans won't bash you, it's as simple as that.

Of course you didnt see/hear of it much in the past...social media has changed that. There were probably TONS of times players said crap to/about fans that we'd never know about unless we were there. And hey while yes you can block fans or dont have to be on social media and such...I have no problem with a player speaking out and defending himself from idiot fans who are blaming him for this and that (like a lot of the people here). I mean its not like he's sitting there cussing them out/etc...he just said "you clowns" jeeez.

Social media has changed, but many players in the past did mouth off the media about fans. Mouthing off about fans isn't a new concept, but I rarely recall it happening with our team in past years. Regardless of that, the guy called fans "clowns." No, it's not cussing out fans, but it's still insulting the people that indirectly pay his salary. That's a stupid thing to do. It's like the CEO of a company coming out and blasting society for writing negative reviews about that companies products, and calling those people "clowns." It's a dumb thing to do. As a fan, and as someone that pays a lot of money on my cable bill every month so that I can watch the game, and as someone that spends a lot of money on jerseys and other memorabilia, I have every right to bash any player who I think isn't playing up to par. If he doesn't like it, perhaps he should play better. Just like Ike, if he shut his mouth and played better, the fans would stop bashing him.
