Way to not embarrass your team, on your off-week...

I know you were probably sincere, and thought nothing you could do, would embarrass the Clowns any more, than they already were, when you made your promise to your coach...but...

    YOU FAILED!!!... LOL!!!

Wow... You just got named the starting qb, and went and did exactly what you promised yer head coach, you wouldn`t do...

I like to party as much as you do, if not more, but it doesn`t cost me millions...

    Way to go, CLOWN!!!!:facepalm::shrug::rolleyes::roflmao:

Demoted to 3rd string. Time to grow up, douchebag, and take responsibility.

I got an alert from NFL mobile when the story broke earlier. It said McCown was back in. Johnny M third on the depth chart.

Me too, apparently I'm now the backup QB. Hell, it's the Browns. I'm sure I couldn't suck any more than anyone else.:roflmao:

Manziel is a train wreck and the only thing that could have made this even better would have been for Jerry Jones to have drafted him. LOL! Weren't there reports that he had strongly considered it?

To do that, just after being named the starter, the kid has problems. The incident itself is harmless but its the promises he broke and lies to cover it up. Not a leader of men for sure.

    ...

    ...

Yeah, after thinking on the situation for a while, and watching the argument, between the two talking heads, in "LadySteel"`s post...
    Wow...
Probably the best QB, on the Clown`s roster, is gonna get a chance again..

McCown, vs Schaub, Monday Nite, ...with Austin being the"#2 QB"...

Manziel is a trainwreck in slow motion...

I originally thought it a little harsh, and detrimental to his own team, when Pettine benched him, to THIRD string, when they would be better served, by giving him a chance to show what he could, or couldn`t do on the field...

I thought "off field issues" were just that..."off field"...

He`s over 21 years old, and he didn`t get arrested for anything, no "assault charges", no "dui"...
    etc...
He didn`t violate the "personal conduct policy", and he must not have been banned from drinking a legal beverage, like Josh Gordon was...

    But...

He DID violate the trust the head coach put in him, by naming him the starting qb for the rest of the season, as long as he "kept his nose clean"...

    The expectations were clear..

And yet, he looked right into the phone, or whatever recorded him, and never thought to offer the person behind the phone a few thousand dollars, to take the phone, and destroy it?!?

Maybe he DOES want out of Cleveland, couldn`t blame him...

But what he`s doing is career suicide... No other team is gonna gamble on him, when he`s behaving like that!

(Lessons I wished I would have learned, when I was 21)...

At least they didn`t cost me an NFL contract!!!

He's not good enough for people to take the risk on him. He needs to be doing it better and cleaner than the other guy.
