making a prediction

    lindsey will surpass carter or worilds and be a starter one day on this defense. Dude has all the moves and a motor that doesnt quit. He is also the perfect size for a olb in our system at 6'2 and 254 pounds. imo the steelers struck gold in a udfa again this year.

    Not according to an article I read. They are very impressed with Worilds, he's going to be a beast. JH's replacement.

    I hope so he just havent shown it yet i was looking for him to do more with the playing time he got. I could be wrong i just think lindsey is quicker then him but as long as whoever it is shines i dont care.worilds was also dealing with injury last year so that could haveplayed a part

    Keep in mind last year they had no OTA's/etc...and a lot of younger players suffered because of that. With the minimal off season it does hurt. I think with what was going on and with the i think hamstring issues he was having he played pretty good. And coach Butler is very high on him too and I trust that man more than ANY other person period.

    Yeah butler is the man when it comes to lbers either way I think we are in very good shape olb wise

    No way man, he will never beat out Worilds. Mark my words, Worilds will be our next beast of a LB. This guy is so underrated.

    I was really high on worilds his rookie year and last the lock out and the hammy could be it but someting was missing. Carter to me just seemed lost out there. I still think lindsey is a beast in the making but needs some work. He realy had some bright spots at pitt. I follow pitt football hell I follow anything pgh and was really impressed with him. The pyscho package could be insane for awhile to come.you could have harrison wood timmons worilds and spence/lindsey whoever fits better. I really love our lber situation. Who knowsthey may try to slide him inside as well

    Well its a great situation to have.But I hope we have found another diamond in the ruff through UDFA.I wish we had picked up chase minnifield from UVA but we have alot of potential at db as well.

    I still have high hopes for Worilds, I think he can do it, but he has the injury bugaboo quite often.

    I agree. To me, he seems to be a bit less of a consistent playmaker than many people anticipated. I was interested in taking another pass rusher if one presented himself, and I'm thrilled to have gotten Lindsey as a UDFA. I think he gets a good look as a potential replacement for Worilds or Carter.
