Is this the week Bryant comes back?..If he plays Sunday look for him to have a big game.. I think Vick will look his way more than he will A'B's due to his height and speed

Yes it is and we play Monday against the Chargers. Vick and Bryant seemed to have some chemistry in the pre-season so I hope it carries over.

I have my doubts here. People are saying that Vick did not do well because he was not used to working with the first team. How good of a rappory will he have with a guy who took 4 weeks off?

I don't think it was due to first team work. Looked more like it was because he throws a different ball and it's coming out from different angles. He's not going to arc the ball in the same as Ben and he's dropping back and looking through his reads backwards due to the left-handed drop.

Made the whole offense look sluggish because guys were open on what should have been his first read, but he doesn't see it until he works through his progression. Add the fact that the plays being called weren't flipped and they expected him to drop and throw precision outs against his natural motion.....His hips needing to get around etc.

I thought Vicks play suffered from the play calling. With the extended week and return of Bryant, I expect a better, game winning effort by offense, defense, special teams, and coaches

I think it was because Vick had one practice with three starters.

I forgot we play Monday night, crap. That's our only Monday night game too. Of course I'm hopeful- but I doubt MB will really make much of a difference. No matter how good a receiver he is, Vick has to get it to him. Which is a problem. The 2 ways he may help is his height (A bigger target) & he's another weapon that the Chargers will have to worry about covering. Can't always double cover AB when MB is there.

He will be ready I hope .I worry more about his mental shape . We will need more sets with the bigger WR'S on the field they have greater value to a run based scheme. The smart move is to send Wheaton to the bench more often.

BS! He had three of the biggest bodies on the team on the field Thursday and he couldn't find any of them with a well thrown ball. That won't change with Wheaton or Archer on the field.

What I said is better blockers at the WR spot. A WR screen with Archer or Wheaton blocking is a joke . A sweep or toss to Bell behind Wheaton or Archer is a joke as well.

We will need more yac and to get that you need blocking from the WR spot .Thats Not BS that's Football 101 .

Coates is not ready as a blocker either, he should not be on the field either .

Sorry PWP missed the run based sentence. I thought you were talking about receiver size in the passing game and Vick struggled with that last week.

NP. Just let Vick keep throwing short and get better blocking to break the play . Let him keep getting Bell the ball with better blocking . I thought Vick did enough now we need Haley to step up and create more ways to get those 2 the ball .

You don't think Bryant will help Vick in the passing game?

At the Buffalo game, Bryant had a huge game. I am optimistic that will continue on Monday night.

Bryants presence on the field alone should make a difference, regardless of how many throws come his way. With his speed and size they have to respect him. Especially with Vicks huge arm. And the bolts are really hurting right now. Weak o-line and no receivers. Our sack #'s should triple that game. With the way our D seems to be improving we should expect to see quite a few 3 and outs. I just hope Vick and our offense can make them count.

No I don't think size was a guaranteed help in the passing game for Vick. He had Miller, DHB, and Coates that's three big bodies and one is a lifetime Raven killer and he still struggled to complete passes to them. Bryant will definitely help because of his skill level.

From the little bit of video I've seen today Bryant is number 2 in the WR work out line.

With Wheaton injured Brown, Bryant, and dhB are a pretty good mixture and should provide a lot of mismatches.
