Wow, how times have changed. No league on earth would allow a car parked that close to the field of play, they'd be terrified of being sued.

    Surprisingly,
I remember that like it happened yesterday.
I still can't belive they let people park their cars down that close to the field.

Thanks for posting this...I haven't seen it in a while. That car should be in the Smithsonian.

I forget for who, but they were the official car of something. It was advertising.

That's awesome. I'm thinking about getting the 70's Super Bowls on DVD. I saw the games but we didn't even have a VCR back then.

Yes, the NFL has a box set of SBs IX, X, XIII, XIV, and XL. But IX and X are very poor quality, which I don't understand. I have bootleg copies of both games that are much, much better. There is a guy named Ken Miller who sells bootlegs on the internet: his games are pricey but almost all of them are in really good condition. You can also find games for cheaper on iOffer, but you take your chances with quality.

I have 200+ Steelers games on DVD, including all AFC Championship victories and every MNF victory dating back to the 1978 game vs San Fran (the night Mayor Mosconi and Harvey Milk were shot and killed).

Some college receiver wiped out a 3 year old a few years ago, and the kid was way closer than that car. He was right on the sideline.

Growing up in San Diego, we didn't get a whole lot of Steelers games on TV but I remember seeing that clip being run on the local sports. Back when I was a Charger fan, (I was young and naive! ) I'd go to the games with my dad and the Chargers always had a Dodge charger near the field. That was back when the Charger, (the car) was really cool!
