I watched season highlights on these 2 WRs McCaffrey from Rice and Pearsall from Florida. Not highly rated and don't have super speed but they look like good possession receivers not afraid to catch in the middle of the field. McCaffrey has a good football DNA in the family. Would like to see the Steelers pick up one or both of them in the later rounds.

With the DJ trade, it wouldn't surprise me if they went WR on round 1

Pearsall is plenty fast. Ran a 4.39 I think

Xavier Worthy of Texas was a possibility in the second round but after he broke the all time forty record at 4.21, he'll never make to our second round pick.

We need someone who can block and catch. Worthy cant block.

I'm settling on 3 guys in the 2nd... I think 1st Rd is JPJ if he makes it to 20.

For the 2nd Rd id consider 1)Keon Coleman (if his 40 makes him drop), 2) Ricky Pearsall (who runs great routes and has very good hands - The anti-DJ). But the best and perfect fit will be Roman Wilson. Fast, Combative, blocks like an old school Steeler and an all round DAWG!!!

Those would be my 3 choices. In the 2nd rd.

I was also thinking Roman Wilson based on watching on live TV, but I haven’t had time yet to watch his film.

Wilson can fly running a 4.33 and he is an excellent route runner. He should be there at pick #51 if the Steelers like him.

Also, and I'll quote a couple of sources, "a willing blocker". Smith likes him some willing blockers.

Why aren't we spending more time on Luke McCaffrey? 6'2 and runs a 4.4.

Faster than his brother or Dad and it looks like he has played WR for only 2 years in college after starting out as a QB. With Ed as his father you know the kid is going to be a workhorse.

Round 4? Steelers do not have a 5th round pick this year. With Special Teams play.

With all his time in Denver I would expect WR coach Zach Azzanni to be familiar with the McCaffery's.

McCaffrey had a very good combine, he caught everything in sight.

I’d be happy if the Steelers draft either of these guys. If they got both I’d be over the moon!

Two great receivers for us I'd be thrilled with Ricky Pearsall with the first 3rd.

Heck I'd be okay with McCaffery close to there too.

Both really fit what we need. Really Like Roman also, just wish he was a little taller for me, still well worth our 2nd round pick!

There are going to be some super tough decisions to make all draft! First year ever for me that I'm glad I'm not making the decisions!! I wouldn't be able to make the picks!

    Allen.

I would love both of them. Pearsall has speed. I think he ran a 4.41 40. He is definitely not a possesion receiver and he won’t make it out of the second round.

Wait so you made all the decisions for the Steelers in years prior?

People are really sleeping on Worthy. It would not surprise me at all if Worthy ends up being the 4th receiver selected in this draft. The guy has blazing speed to go deep, and can turn bubble screens into big gains. I doubt very highly he makes in past KC in the first. No way he makes it to the Steelers in the 2nd.
