here's max's ranking out of the top 35 left tackles. i pretty much calls em as i see's em. our O-line should be much improved with these young guys. finally!!!

 

he is at 33 , more or less where he belongs

 

First and foremost obviously we need to remember this is the Bleacher Report site, haha. Anyways...I think he's a little better than 33...not like 20 or something, but he's better than that in my eyes.

 

everybody thinks i hate max, and i don't. he's a great guy and smart, but just not a difference maker for a team. i think he's raked right about where he should be. the things they talk about on there are true about him as i have harped about. the lack of ability in the run game, the qb pressures. the getting more out of shape as the season and game goes along. max never worked hard at his body or craft. he has never been tabbed as a workout warrior.

we will see a difference with that line you have pictured and maybe yet a slight variation or addition to come. it's not always about the sacks as you know, it's the overall game that's lacking. as for colon and foster, i like them too. just not as difference making players at there positions. they play guard like tackles. right tackles to boot. we need mobility and that's what we have gone after. high priority UDFA's should be a plenty and some PS guys we haven't had in here yet. at least for our backup spots.

after you get past 4 or 5 I dont think there is much difference in any of them
