Despite how bad we think this team is and where they rank on all the charts, There's 9-10 teams below this team in the draft!

I can't believe it! The Browns that were the darlings again this year after they started out hot, are now below them!

Be ready for the next few weeks:
If we lose, certain people will be calling for Tomlin's head on a platter, because we can't win.
If we win, the same people will be calling for Tomlin's head on a platter, because he screwed up our draft position.

:superman:You cant always rely on draft to win, so lets win with the players we already have. Lets see if we can keep gelling the rest of the season!

No, that's not it. Tomlin is an average coach, that does average things. Steelers have won 3 playoff games in 12 seasons. Some of those teams were really talented. He coached a playoff game where he lost to Tim Tebow. He coached several games against inferior teams where he did not have his team prepared at the slightest.

He lost to Blake Bortles in the playoffs - still haven't gotten over that one. I think Tomlin was talking about ultimately meeting the Patriots again in the AFC championship before the Jags game - not a good look.

Well, I guess, more players will want to play for the Steelers ... if somehow, we end up with a winning record. It would be remarkable.

Id rather win, but what I really want to see is an offense that moves the ball and when in the redzone designs up some play calls that work. Last week was promising and I think they'll be better vs the bengals.

The Steelers are hard to watch and have been for about 10 years.

All of this is true. But how many times do we have to keep repeating it like people don’t already know this?

I don’t remember that Cowher publicly talked about the next game. Anyway I think he redeemed himself with a SB win in 05.

Yeah the thing is it gets redundant. I mean I can see if you don’t like the service at McDonald’s and you go in every time and complain with the hopes of them changing something.
Continually complaining to people that have zero control over the situation is silly. Say what you Gotta say and then get onto the next topic.

I can promise you they don't care. They're pros all they care about is money. Every player after games butters Tomlin up "You're my favorite coach" Blah blah blah. How many big name FAs have taken a pay cut to play for their "favorite coach" ? Zero.

He didn't publicly. But he gave the players a day off so that they could make travel arrangements for the Super Bowl.
