Some interesting points made about Mason. Never thought of him as trade bait. As far as #2 QB's I think there are teams in the NFL that have it worse then us. If Mason has to come in at points during the upcoming season I think having a reliable RB, and I do believe Najee is a future star in the NFL, will make Mason a better QB.

I think Mason will have to play at times during this season and if our O-line can play decent he will keep us on course. I just hope he doesn't have to play for an extended period of time. Could you imagine the blitzes we would see. OUCH!!!!

Of course when I see Top 10 all time Qb list I usually disagree. So...
Some put for stats, and then jump 2 wins ....their reasons blowing back and forth for whomever they think is best.

The Falcons just lost their backup QB to an injury, that could be a place to trade Mason.

 

Could be decades before we find another one in his ballpark. It's probably going to take a top 10 pick & we won't be using one on a qb until the HOFer is gone.
