I really wanted the Steelers to draft Brees when he came out. Guess they didn't have a first round grade on him.

Loved Breaking Bad. Wished that ran another 5-6 seasons.

different coach , different GM, different team president now running the show. no way we can compare life after bradshaw to now. we also have some different owners in the group.

we can however look at who the GM has brought in as qb's. dobbs, LJ. these were the only two drafted under MT.

I think Ben will give the front office a one year heads up to draft a successor in the high rounds. Dobbs wasn't it, so I think Ben plays this year and next year minimum. Once we draft a QB in rounds 1 or 2 we'll know the writing is on the wall.

Hope this is his last year. He is losing a little each year and this year is quite noticeable when you throw 3 bombs in a row and non are even close. I would hate to see him get hurt and have to go out that way. Was nice but good things come to a end.

You're correct Thigpen - many good seasons in that period (with Yancy himself providing much of the excitement) just never had the QB and all around support personnel to add to the trophy case collection. I suppose "lifeless" should be reserved for the hometown Pirates for 23 years running after Sid Bream rounded 3rd - then 3 good years and now starting a new lifeless streak.
