Why is this so difficult for people to understand?

 

Bell ruined his career over that bigger guarantee.........and do we really need to go into how Brown ended things???

 

Are you suggesting that Bell took less money to sign for the Jets because he thought the Jets had a better chance of winning a championship? Bell overestimated his value.

And Brown left the Steelers to go to the Raiders because he thought the Raiders had a better chance at winning a championship?

I think it more likely that you didn't like Tomlin and you didn't think he was going to win a championship again and you are projecting those thoughts onto Bell and Brown when I don't think that played any part in either of their decisions.

 

And signing with the jets...It was his only option

50% by definition have a below average intelligence

1% run the world for a reason

 

Did Bell ruin his career? He got more money AND played with teams that had deeper playoff runs.

Brown ended things by getting another contract and winning a SB.

How did Bell overestimate his value? He was given one of the highest contracts for his position at the time. The Steelers were just being the Steelers trying to find out how to save a buck.

Plus, Bell got to make deep playoff runs with KC and Tampa while Tomlin and the Steelers were getting bounced in the WC, if they made the post season at all.

More money .. better teams .. yeah, Bell was foolish for wanting all of that.

We were major Superbowl contenders when Bell held out... what deep playoff run did Bell have with the jets?????

Other than actually staying with us and having a legitimate Superbowl run and career

 

Bell was not even in rotation with the chiefs in the playoffs and he was cut with the bucs in the 2021 playoffs....AB was only a luxury for the bucs,they would won without him

 

Of course,I was talking about his only option when he was in free agency!

 

Yeah..... nowadays people know better than to throw it all away for the Jets

Im hoping for the best even though i didnt like the hire. I hope McCarthy proves guys like Bell wrong. Bell certainly didnt leave on good terms. I would give more credence to guys like Bettis, Joe Greene or Hines over a knucklehead like Bell
