    Ruh roh. Getting nervous, Shaner?

I wouldn't be so sure about that... ;-)

Not at all. It's really a win win situation for me. Only thing that will piss me off is if the Bungles win but don't cover the spread, which is starting to look like a very realistic possibility. I either want them to lose or I want them to cover.

Must win game and Begnals are choking it away.

Nobody wants to win AFC North.

It does seem that way. All the AFC north teams are imploding.

I'm glad we didn't take Burfict as an UDFA or even draft him in the 7th. He's clearly not a Steelers kind of player. He hits hard, plays hard and makes plays...

Well, the Eagles have likely handed the Bengals the game on that bad int by Foles. All the momentum suddenly swung big time.

This is what the Eagles do, they turn the ball over, a lot. That's why they lose so often. In fact, that's how we beat them, they kept giving us the ball

I'm not worried about the bengals at all. Philly is turning the ball over and the bengals are getting points off them. Wait till we get a hold of them... Wait a minute.

    And another.

Eagles and Steelers are having very similiar seasons with all the turnovers and mistakes.

The Eagles suck something fierce. Got home from dinner and looked at the score and it was 13-10 Philly... next thing I know it's 24-13 Bangles.

It'll be another quiet post-game day in the office.

I think he's a good coach but he's lost the team. They are no longer listening to him.

did the Eagles turn the ball over 4 times on 5 touches? i dont think ive ever seen anything like that.

at one point it looked like they were going to go up 20 - 10 and the next thing i know its 34 - 13 Cincy.

that was a perfect example of a defense creating turnovers to help the offense. the Bengals forced 4 turnovers in a few minute span and took the game from being close to being a blowout. that is something the Steelers defense does not do. they hold teams to punt or field goals for the most part, but they never put the offense in easy scoring position.

the Bengals looked horrible, but so did the Steelers last week.

as it stands the Steelers need to win their next 2 and they are in. if they do that and lose to the Browns they are still in. they beat the Jets head to head and if they beat Cincy they will have beaten them twice head to head.

now if they lose to the Browns im pretty sure they dont belong in the playoffs, but hey, its a knew season and anything can happen come playoff time.

For that scenario to even be remotely plausible, the Ravens will have to either WIN their next two games (with help from other teams) and be still fighting for a first-round bye (history shows that when a team only has #3 vs #4 on the line, they won't care that much), OR lose their next two games and be struggling for the division. If they split, they will have clinched the division and have nothing to play for that final week. And, courtesy of the schedulers, they'd probably move the Ravens/Bengals to the night game in week 17 and when it becomes clear the Ravens have nothing to play for based on everything happening early in the day, the Bengals would win 65-0....

Frankly I'm hoping for the Ravens lose all games scenario to give us that one more chance in the final week should we beat the Cowboys but lose to the Bengals, but if the Ravens have nothing to play for in that final week, they won't be able to tank it FAST enough. Whatever it takes!!!!!

I think there's the 3-way 9-7 scenario where if Indy gets swept and the Jets win out, we could be shut out if we lost that final game to the Browns. Might SEEM far-fetched, but with Indy playing twice against the Texans and the Jets playing no winning teams the rest of the way, I'd feel better if the Jets lose to the Titans on Monday night....
