Take our miserable football season away.
Sorry Ward - actually make it 0-1..............something the Steelers never were this season - technically.
I was talking about the score at the time but the Defense hung Jarry out to dry and ended up flopping in the 3rd period to a 6-3 loss. Maybe tonight they can get it together and get a win.
"Maybe" seems to be a constant thread through Pittsburgh sports these days.
not a good start tonight. at least they have got back into it
Anybody know where I can get Pen's streams? I've moved out of market and miss my Pens.
NHL.tv is free for the first week (sorry - it appears that this is for Directv only)
Pens win finally!
Beating the Caps is always mighty sweet. Not unlike beating the Pats on those rare occasions in the past.
Beating the Caps 2 in a row, now that's sweet. Back to .500 and a fresh start over.
Had school last night and couldn't watch. Just watched the first period. DeSmith didn't look very good but the Pens need defense bad. Looking forward to the rest of the game while working on the inside of my house.
Quietly spoken.....Has the Worm turned? Nice 4 game home stretch. Interesting that Pens are looking up (very slightly) to the Caps, a team they beat twice in a row and are resting slightly above the Flyers, a team that beat them 2 in a row to open the season. This home rink advantage really makes a difference.
I didn't see this coming. Must be problems at the top level or the Pens.
Pens lights out at home; useless on the road. Looks familiar. Good way to maintain a mediocre .500 record.
Don't fret, if the Pens have a rough go of it the single A baseball team of Pittsburgh will be starting spring training before you know it.
That was a hell of a goal in OT! Pens over Capitals!
Nice win over Flyers last night in front of some fans for first time in about a year. 7 and 3 over last 10 and now play at home 12 of 16 games in March where they are 8-1. Time to pull away and give Caps a run. Don't recognize many names on this team but if they can start winning consistently who cares. Probably won't recognize too many Pirates this season either, especially pitchers (not that it matters much though - they didn't win much when I knew every player).
Pens are pleasantly surprising me this season. I expected the party was over after our last Cup but these new names seem to be getting the job done. As for my beloved fearsome Bucs I think it will be fun to see how many games it takes them to reach the Steelers win total of 12. I can see them at 12-35 so about 47-50 games to do it. I do believe we will have a rookie of the year candidate from our 3rd baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes. Pretty sure he still has rookie status. Only problem is if he does light it up he'll be easy to pitch around since we have a terrible line-up.
ABC\ESPN sign new deal with NHL. Hopefully the boys will be back.
Gary and Bill best broadcast team ever. Except for Lange and the ol 29er
Don't look now - but Pens on a roll - just topped (and now tied with at 48 pts) the world beater Islanders 2 in a row. Only 2 behind Caps this morning. Incredible home record but still under .500 on the road. They've taken advantage of such a lopsided home schedule in March. Keep it up fellas. Way to pull it together Coach Mike. (Sullivan, not Tomlin).
Didn't see that Jarry got injured. Not good. Thin at Goalie now.
That sucks!!!!! They are pleasantly surprising this season. I was sure the party was over.
PENS WIN IN BEANTOWN!!!!!!!! Boston pretty much has owned us in their arena lately. Kind of reminds me of another team from the area who owned the Steelers.
Wow. 5 in a row including some on road. 3 way tie for first with NYI and Caps. Something to cheer about for sure.
