He would bring some spunk to the team. Have him at DC/Assistant HC and turn him loose on our diva players like Brown.

I heard the browns are looking at mike mccarthey for there coaching spot.. If he gets hired it's gonna be hard to tell the browns and Steelers head coaches apart lol

 

The defense certainly needs a dose of nasty added to it.

Could you imagine if the Browns hire someone else and whoever it is ends up winning less over 2-3 years then Williams did in only part of a season? Classic Browns.

In all seriousness though, adding Gregg Williams as the Defensive Coordinator would be great. Look at what Jarbill Peppers has turned out; Myles Garrett no less. Those guys are going to be studs


Imagine what he can do with Terrell Edmunds and T.J. Watt?! For that matter, just what Terrell Edmunds needs; a callback to what Troy needed when Dick LeBeau came in.

 

Williams knows his strengths and weaknesses and in my opinion he wants to coach defense and leave the headaches to others.

 

Marvin Lewis is widely recognized as an incredible DC.. he coached the legendary 2000 ravens , coached our LBs in 1992. Wouldn't be a bad move.
