You all are presuming LB is talking about himself in this article. I'd like to think he is talking about my main man-crush Heath. Yes, I know Heath retired, but we should have sweet-talked him into staying. Anyhow, back on point...LB is definitely talking about Heath.

 

LB has a long history of injuries and suspensions. Regardless of who the backup was our running game didn't miss a beat. blount, D'Angelo, Connor, didn't matter. That tells me that the O Line had maybe a little something to do with Bell's success.

Bell's style of hesitating behind the line was impossible to defend. What happens when he tries that behind the jet's line? Get your popcorn ready!

I don’t know the ins and outs myself but there was a comment on one of the Steelers podcasts that I listen to a while back that suggested that Steelers fans should be rooting for him to do well and not get hurt because the better he does the better the compensatory pick will be.

I thought Pittsburgh showed Le'veon that he wasn't that special & the rest of the league concurred. Sitting out really hurt his bottom line (a years franchise money & his future earning potential), Jurry Jones should have let the Ewok sit.

I’d like to see the full details. It would be insane to give him $50m guaranteed. I’ll bet some of that money is in conditional guarantees, thus giving the Cowboys an out later in the contract.

 

I don't think his production has any affect on his compensatory pick for the Steelers.

 

What triggers his comp pick, is it if he’s on the opening day roster? If so, after that I don’t care what the jag off does.

 

I'm not sure on the whole formula, but him being productive isn't it.

 

Ive read that the formula includes size of contract, number (or maybe percentage) of snaps played in the 1st year, and individual awards (MVP, Offensive or Defensive POY, Pro Bowl, etc).

 

Exactly....but these type of threads generate the most traffic. Even being as useless as they are to actual Steeler Football. Maybe once the games actually start we will see less of these misplaced threads and they will find a home where they actually belong....JMO
