LB investment

we saw it last night. they were FIRED UP, in better position (for the most part). Hitting hard, attacking the football.

they drew a HUGE break with Chubbs going out, I get it - and the outcome may have been way different with him there all night.

but in general, liked much of what I saw with all of them, inside and outside LB's.

 

Have we talked to Reuben Foster yet?

 

At times the LB's and DB's were confused as to where to line up

 

No 55 had a good game. It's been a long time since I have seen a decent game from an inside linebacker.

 

I'm gonna stick my neck out and say we're going to see a repeat of last season, there's been a lot of churn on the roster and we're on the struggle bus right now, but the second half will be much better, that's IF we can remain competitive until mid-season if not, the season could implode totally.

Big intangible is we don't yet know what we've got with KP.

I've said for years we need some sort of offensive guru on this team, because for years we have not got the best out of the weapons we had.

Also, On a side note...For some who are clamoring/ boo hooing about losing Brian Flores...

Minnesota has the worst run D in the League! Swift, Who didn't even play week one, gashed them for 173 in week 2...

The media, With these made up narratives that they spew over and over, to try and make it believable...

Flores sucks, Just like Tomlin does...But TV media types say the opposite

 

Kwon and Roberts were fined for unnecessary roughness. At least Kwon got his preseason fine rescinded.

We still need to draft a couple of players at the position. We need some home-grown talent.

 

ILB will be drafted within 2nd day of the 2024 draft.
