I think it will be heavy doses of that pulling guard play where Heath and DD just road grade for Bell. The Bengals couldn't stop it Last year.

I`m just happy we are 4-3 and Ben is back. At the time Ben got hurt, we were looking at possibly being at 6 losses by the time he returned. Now things look good for us making the playoffs and going all the way if we can avoid anymore injuries to key personnel.

Sad to say, but with memories of how Palmer got hurt in that playoff game years ago, wouldn't be ironic if Ben did get knocked out against the Bengals.

If they intentionally go after his knee. The next defensive play against Dalton will be to his knee, at least it should be.

I would like to hope the benches would clear if something like that (intentionally targeting Ben's knee) would happen, and I think our OL would go absolutely nuts leading the charge.

Take out the guys knee that did it AND Daltons. Explain it to the Bengals captains pre-game, just to make sure everyone is up to speed.

How does Arrington know what the Bengals will do? Ben is supposed to wear a brace on his knee.

I don't think it's rocket science. In the 49ers game years ago when Ben was hobbled it was pretty much understood that if he showed limited mobility the Niners would come after him and they did. I think they are going to look to put bodies on his and while not trying to directly hit his knee they will look to aggravate the injury by repeated blows to his body and forcing his weight to fall on it. Any DC worth his salt would be game planning for it. I hope they do try it and Ben burns them over and over again.

Lavar Arrington was a super talent coming
out of North Hills High, Pgh Pa. Of course went on to PSU (BOO)
then to NFL, He was a Troy Aikmen career ender.
He knows a little about football.

Seriously? He was an All Pro LB, I think he knows a little something about a defenses mindset.

Because that's what football players do. Especially at the NFL level.

He's just a ex player looking to get some run, that's the same BS Rodney Harrison said the Dolphins were going to do to Tom Brady. And the Patriots kicked the Dolphins ass, there were no cheap shots on Brady.

Hes not looking to get some run, hes giving insight into how players play the game, I think he would know. He didnt say anything about cheap shotting him, I doubt Marvin Lewis would allow that but that doesnt mean they wont do exactly what he stated in the video.

And you're allowed to tackle a player by his legs, doesnt have to be a cheap shot.

Why not?! The ram player did and there was no flag, no fine, and no suspension! Wouldn't you?!
I can remember Ben playing against the ravens and his injured ankle heavily wrapped and suggs stepping on it (ala suh) after the play was over...and no flag,no fine, and no suspension

I would question their mentality if they didn't go for Ben's knee.

Going for it after the whistle, etc., is obviously bad form. I'm still mad about the Rams reaction to Ben's injury - definitely not cricket. But in the field of play? Of course you target the opponent's weaknesses.

Talking heads always say this kind of stuff. I remember commentators saying in the '79 Super Bowl, "Watch for The Cowboys to go for Craig Morton's bad hip." They didn't.
