I believe we are on the same page. I don’t feel someone that takes plays off and says “I will play when I want to play” should not be in the HOF (Randy Moss). A crappy teammate like Terrell Owens should not be there. I believe you should be in Canton because of stats and character (great teammate, playing with heart, great in the community, etc)

 

Interesting thought. I wonder how Tomlin would have fared with Brady. Let's face it, Billi**** could get the most out of players who most thought were done or useless.

For me personally, the Hall of Fame is reserved for those who either changed or revolutionized the game forever. For example, Joe Greene?! Absolutely. Someone like Richard Seymour?! Great yes but not HOF great.

I agree with your post. However if they require a certain number each year it wont be as elite as what you said. Maybe they need an elite section for the HOF. HOF starters?
