I was definitely wrong about him being too injured. He had a very good game last week. Besides that??? Not much. Would hardly call it an excellent singing. But you are probably one of the guys who thinks Pickett looks like John Elway. Yinzer homer gonna yinzer.

I wouldn't call it an excellent singing, either. I don't know if Ogunjobi can sing or not.

I would call it an excellent signing. The Steelers needed a replacement for Tuitt, someone who can stop the run and help collapse the pocket inside. Ogunjobi is filling that role very well. They got lucky when he failed his physical with the Bears, making him available late in the process and keeping his price down. They should be talking extension with him.

Ogunjobi has been great this year. I would argue that he has been our best front 7 defender all year. It is an excellent signing. We saw a talented player fail a physical, brought him in and determined we were comfortable with his health, and are reaping the benefits of that. Idk if we will ink him longer term after the season or not, but Larry has been a bright spot for the defense this year for sure. The FO did an A+ job here.

Also, I don't think anyone thinks Pickett has looked like John Elway.... There is definite excitement for him among fans (First round pick, Pitt guy, etc.), but he has only played 2 full games essentially. I think there is certainly a lot to be excited about with his play. He anticipates very well, sees the field well, has great pocket presence, makes good decisions on when to tuck it and run, has the right mentality, etc.. No one expects him to be a top 10 QB right away. However, there is nothing that he has shown so far that makes me think he wont eventually be very good.
