All I know is when the now dead queen used to speak, I could understand her proper English 100%.

When a commoner in London speaks it is unintelligible.

To me, when spoken like the queen did, proper English sounds dignified and easily understood.

That is a positive step. Hopefully, he can hold up through practice this coming week and get some snaps in the final preseason game. My concern isn't just that he might miss time. I worry that he might be rendered ineffective by injury, which seemed to happen on occasion last season.

May they all grow old and have wonderful lives. Now, that said, I wouldn't mind seeing 5-6 QB's in the AFC with boots and civilian attire on the sidelines for most the season;)

Let me fix this one for you. We spell some of their words differently. One example whiskey. In every other English speaking country it’s whisky. We added an e due to a marketing campaign.

Try reading Trainspotting. The author is Scottish and a bunch of it is spelled phonetically. There’s actually a glossary of terms in the back

Loved the movies but the book gave me a hard time.

About 5-6 years ago in Puerto Morelos, Mexico I'm standing in a check out line and glanced down at the young ladies legs in front of me. Her tattoo on calf was, "choose life". Her English was broken at best but we did figure out we both loved the movies and she got the tattoo because of it.

The band Wham (George Michael) did a video wearing shirts with the words on them. It was a British anti-drug slogan. I like it a lot better then Nancy's, "Just Say No".
