Redman. Him and Dwyer are both 1 year tenders but Red was undrafted, get nothing for him, keep Dwyer and if you lose him next season we'll get a pick.

You think Batch survives cuts? Couldn't we just get rid of him and Johnson?

Yeah DJ for SURE! Every time I see him I'm like "dude what are you doing here?" LOL. We just resigned him a couple of months ago to a one year deal I think, if I'm not mistaken.

Actually, you're right, with LSH here now, they can keep Red, Dwyer, and cut Batch.

Yup, DJ was a one year, $715K deal. No SB.

I would be TOTALLY fine with that. Remember Batch dropping that WIDE OPEN trick play in the Cincy game this year? Well I've never forgotten it and I am out for blood! LOL.

Didn't BA really like DJ? Think we could send him in a package deal to Arizona and their TE Rob Housler? I mean Arians loves TEs just not throwing to them so having a guy like Housler is a waste. I kid but seriously give DJ to someone anyone please take him I will throw in a years supply of slightly used Terrible Towels. Please:praying:

Yeah I would really like for DJ to be out of here. I wouldn't even want them to let that guy wear the Steely McBeam costume!

He didn't drop it, he totally whiffed at it. I don't think he got his hands on it.

Yeah I think it literally went THROUGH his hands didn't it? I mean like BETWEEN both of them. It was horrible for sure either way.

They already say what he's made of...not much. No matter how much he improves, Dwyer is a plodder. He's not a playmaker whatsoever. We have two playmakers now in Bell and LSH.

So Shaner you think our depth chart will be Bell, LSH, Dwyer, Redman leaving DJ and Batch to be cut?

LSH is going to be a specialist, so he can't really be ranked in the depth chart. He'll see passing down work and special teams and not much more. Bell is clearly the solution to our RB woes and the plan will be for him to be the top dog on the depth chart, but that might not happen right away. Bell needs quite a bit of work. None of the RB's in this draft class are as polished as past years. Bell is a liability in pass defence and his decision making/vision is going to need quite a bit of work. As much as I rag on Dwyer, he's a polished RB who can fill the gap we have at RB while waiting for Bell to be ready.

Long term though, Dwyer may not even be on the team. He may want to go elsewhere. Being behind a 21 year old kid who is full of talent isn't ideal for Dwyer.

DJ is a TE. My guess is he holds a roster spot until Heath returns. Then it's adios (unless someone else gets injured).

Let's not all get on the "embarrassment of riches" train again. It left the station last year; Clay got maimed in camp, Rainey dumbed his way out, and Baron Batch couldn't even impersonate Mewelde Moore. With injuries, and late-season AFC North weather, we need several usable RB's. Dwyer will get his opportunities.
