I expect something around 1.75-2.25 per year average.

Not going to compare to how Jack will go off if they resign Jarvis today as well.

Landry isn't a long term answer. But, he can fill in and maybe win you a game or two.

That's basically what you want in a back up.

I still think the Steelers will draft somebody.

So 2.2 per and we can cut him next year with only 300k dead (if we needed to)

Good deal. Right where I expected

Well played on the est. contract numbers!!!

Disagree on cutting him next year ..... He has gotten better every year and played well last year in relief of Ben. He well worth what we're paying him.

Serviceable. Knows the system. That's it. Don't rest on the Ben retirement talk though. I feel he will play this season but who knows after that.

Regrding cutting... I simply meant that the guaranteed money wasn't a big deal... hence the "if we needed to".

It's a good contract for a solid, playbook experienced backup

fills backup needs for now. Draft a QB to learn the playbook from Landry Jones.

Was honestly hoping The other burger would unseat him but oh well, we always stay with what's comfortable and we know he can be serviceable not bad.

I figured he would be re-signed, too bad we couldn't get a legit OLB. Pickings are slim to none and slim left town.

offers some stability behind ben and in front of our draft pick. neither he nor met is the future starter but even then we need backups. good signing. we didn't over pay.:smiley1::cool:

It's pretty much a given that we would be in the big game since we will also still have DHB.

He'd play QB, through a bomb to the end zone and then go catch it for a TD. :yahoo:

    Good signing indeed.

Landry provides depth for the team and has done his fair share of keeps.....

I didn't want him at premium backup pay. This is the high end of what I'd be comfortable with, but OK. At least we know we can beat the Browns with him playing 60 minutes.... err... make that 70+ minutes...
