When he caught it I yelled for him to slide down, to prevent either an injury or fumble. Once he got the first, I was content and we didn't need much more...

I agree, but that's been called a penalty more often than not the last couple of years

It seemed that way to me as well!! Those couple throws went kinda high but with alittle extra effort he could have pulled them down.

Agree, I don't know about the contract part, but he looked skittish to me today as well. I didn't see that in the previous games though.

They tried that the last time they played the Ravens it didn't work, if the Steelers want to win Ben will have to win it for them.

I don't know if I'd call it playing scared, but does anyone else think Green seems to play very tentatively? How many times have we talked about how it's much more likely that you'll get hurt if you play that way?

He might not be 100% healthy even though they activated him.

I only saw one play where Green was tentative and it was when he had alligator arms. Birth defect (Thanks Lady Steel) was zeroing in on him and Ben hung him out to dry.

Green was like, nope, not doing it :lolol:

Y'all can talk about Green being tentative all you like, but he will be sorely missed if he can't go next week. The Steelers need a consistent threat opposite Brown and Green has delivered that the last few weeks.

The biggest injury factor in next week's game isn't Green or Tuitt- it's the status of Jimmy Smith of the Ravens. If he is out again that should be very advantageous for the Steelers.

Perhaps, but I think the lack of receivers is really hurting the Steelers' offense regardless of the opposing secondary and they can't afford to lose another one.

I will laugh so hard if it turns out that Burfict has a concussion and they let him play anyway. It really needs to be made in to a gif when DeCastro lowered the boom on that thug.

No way he wasn't concussed, never should have been allowed back in. Inmates running the asylum over there.

It's the norm. I was quite surprised that the zebras called 4 in a row against the bungles. A momentary brain fart of sorts I guess...

Yeah, the officiating was pretty awful yesterday. Brown got Facemasked at least two other times that weren't called as well. Not to mention pretty much any time a WR was matched up against Kirkpatrick, he was holding. On every play.

I'm doubting we see Green play. It seems like it's impossible to escape the concussion protocol within a week anymore. Doesn't seem to matter who you are.

Jesse James is going to have to step up, as well as Eli Rogers and Coates. Hopefully Coates fingers are getting better he did make a catch yesterday.

    SteelerGlenn said:
Brown had his head pulled around by a facemask in the endzone right in front of an official.

It was coates who was face masked in the EZ, and the refs let them get away with a lot of holding receivers and interference as well, but they let burfect taunt bell and other players the entire game and he didnt get flagged for it 1 time...

Maybe DeCastro just saved Bell from a knee injury. Burfict was going low for Bell`s knees. Who knows what could have happened right there and then, but didn`t? Anyway, about time Burfict paid up a little for his past evils.
