Is it just me or do our LB's get held way more than it is called or is it just my perception? I swore Worilds was held at least 3 or 4 times right in front of the official yet nothing called Sunday night. And they called the ticky tack one on Miller. It seems like every week we are on the short end of the stick so to speak. Just wondering if it is just me or if truly our linebackers never get the break of a call unless it is so over the top it has to be called.

    :herewego!:

Its not just your perception. I saw a couple good tackles of Harrison and Worilds, and nothing was called.

Steelers never get anything on the D line except if they graze the opponents QB

Harrison might as well give up his edge pass rush. It's sickening watching him come off the edge and the tackle has his left arm wrapped around his neck. Since the refs let it happen so often our opponents are taking advantage of it on a regular bassis.

    I agree. Nothing new there.
Silverback even had a meeting or two with the refs about it a year or two ago, where they supposedly explained what he had to do to get the calls, but nothing changed...
On a side note, I DID actually notice one play Sunday night, that Starx had his man in a chokehold, right by Ben and the ref, and didn`t get called... I couldn`t believe it!!!
Tha one on Heath that cost us a td was a HUGE load of crap!!!

Like you I, I thought I was the only one noticing Harrison getting held on almost every other play and I know exactly what play you're talking about with Worilds, the ref was looking right at it... Shame!

Glad I am not the only one with the issue. I was beginning to think it was my black and gold glasses I wear each weekend. It is amazing how the inconsistent the officiating has become in the NFL especially with the Steelers. I wonder if we had Marsha or Peyton as QB how many more 15 yd late hit calls we would get. With Ben and it seems it is legal to him him 10 minutes after he throws the ball. That being said I wouldn't trade Ben for either of those guys!

Harrison being held is something that has been talked about on the old board, this board, other boards and media sites for the past 3-4 years... I don't see it every changing..
