    Thanks, although I wish I could have posted it on another occasion.

    I did end up texting Jimmy with the sad news of L.C.'s passing (Jimmy's college teammate, former Bears DB Allan Ellis, also died last week so this is a particularly tough time for him).

    Jimmy texted me later and told me that he had called Frenchy Fuqua in Detroit, and that the news was a real shock to both of them.

    this was very sad news. 1 rivet left in the famous steel curtain. God they were fun to watch. that was steeler football, that really was steeler football. they set the pace and not only in Pittsburgh, but for the league. RIP 68.:cool:

    I remember watching the 70's Steelers very well. L.C. not only should be in the HOF but he would already be there if not for so many of his team mates already in. Its a pure shame.
