More clickbait during a slow time but this should be a fun battle to watch. Being an Iowa guy, Kittle is the sh!t. Thing is though, if he's taking on Watt at the line of scrimmage, it means he's not out in a route. I'll take that. Run blocking is a whole other animal.

I don't know about abuse him. One on one he probably gets him but Kittle isn't your average tight end.

Right. That's somewhat my point. There's no way they put Kittle one on one with Watt and if he's staying in to help the tackle in pass protection, that's taking him away as a weapon for the QB. Win/ win

 

To be fair, I'm not so sure Shanahan or his coordinators share Kittles enthusiasm for going up against Watt. Or his ego. I highly doubt they leave him on an island against the best pass rusher in the game.

 

This is what I was getting at. No way He blocks Watt alone. No way. This is what I meant by abuse Him if they try.
