I doubt you will find any Steelers fans that care more about that non-losing seasons record over playoff wins, some of us just bring it up because fans like you get your panties in a bunch over the mention of it .

From Art II's season ending presser.

It will be handled when it’s handled, though it’s not imminent as the team searches for a new offensive coordinator. As for why Tomlin wasn’t extended this past offseason, Rooney offered that there was no particular reason for that.

And “I can’t get into that” is how he answered when asked how his stated impatience factors into negotiations this offseason with Tomlin and the coach’s representation. It’s a business, of course, and rare are the times Rooney and Tomlin are opposing forces rather than in lockstep trying to lead the Steelers forward.

Something I looked up yesterday that I had never really thought about before then was the net worth of NFL team owners. The Rooney's are at the very bottom of the list. I think they were like 30th as far as net worth. They are worth under a billion dollars. That's a lot of money to us, but that is not a lot of money when your payroll is a quarter of a billion dollars on players alone. So I'm sure that the Rooney's are walking a line where they don't bankrupt themselves on salaries and still try to have the talent they want for players and coaches. It would also explain why the Rooneys have historically paid their lower coaches poorly.

I could be wrong(I pray Im wrong about R.Wilson, and He still has gas in the tank), but I don't think bringing one Qb that two teams paid to go away, and another Qb that nobody wants is setting the team up for win now. JMO, but no matter what anyone thinks about the two new Qbs .....those are the facts.

You stated: Art II is at odds with his agent.

You stated it as a fact

Keep in mind net worth and cash flow are two different things

Their net worth is almost entirely the team

When it comes to available cash there is little

Not how it works. In 2022 the Steelers revenue was over 500 million dollars

It what Art II said. Maybe not at odds but the negotiations are not smooth. Is that better for you?

You do realize what you posted is a small quote from ar2 and then someone’s interpretation?

Everybody interprets. But it came from someone close to the situation. Maybe it's going smooth. Just saw it and thought it was worthy of posting as I remembered that I posted in January after I saw the story.

So have a drink on me. And pour Jeh one as well...

Tomlin was talking about cutting off eyelids and storming out of a season ending press conference at the slightest question about his future as steeler coach.

    Tomlin wants out.

Khan also wants him gone. Proof is how Tomlin was frozen out of Khan’s first draft. Probably the best draft in decades.

There will be no extension. Fraud Tomlin gone in one year max.

keep waving your pom poms for a bad coach. Tomlin should have been fired the day after the last AFC championship game when he was depantsed in front of the whole league. Total waste of seasons since and never made it to super bowl with 3 killer b's

Cowher's losses were not total blowouts to Patriots and not nearly as embarrassing as Tomlin clown show game in the last AFC champ game.
The Chargers loss was horrible but Cowher went to super bowl following year.

But you're okay with Cowher going 1-4 at home in the AFCCG at home? But he didn't get blown out .
