KFP on The Pat McAfee Show

Thought this was a fun interview.

Always good to hear.

 

What I got from this is that Tomlin took him in with the Staff meetings on Monday. For all the FMT posts in here, seems like he's really working with the young QB. Combine that with what we were hearing towards the end of the year about him suggesting plays he'd seen work against opponents and you might have some real progress year 2.

 

I like that he's talking about putting on more muscle mass. He said he just got too lean with draft prep and the long season.

 

It's also fun when he mentions he has to improve his footwork when it was a valid criticism of mine during his Pitt career. My guy is on the right path.

 

Funny part is how he had some really nice off=platform throws when it counted this year.

Watching his footwork, Trubisky and Rudolph was night and day as well.

 

He should take a nice leap forward in 2023.

 

It will never cease to amaze me how Pat McAfee got so popular so quick.

Guy is like the new age Howard Stern/Jimmy the Greek/Howard Cosell/ and a Comedian rolled into one.

Just a guy who followed his heart with what he wanted to do and its worked out well for him and the rest of his group.

I think people like a guy with who they can relate with and people feel like Pat is one of those people.

But I like Pat because he's a Pittsburgh guy..... and he doesn't forget his roots...

 

This thread is dangerously close to being "too optimistic". You fellas better tone it down a notch.

 

Where can I get my KFP tee shirt? I'd like one of those Tri-blend's that thin and comfortable.

 

Was that "KFP" stuff on video? I don't remember seeing it and can't find it.

 

I hate being optimistic but Kenny looks like a dude that can win us a Super Bowl if he keeps trending the way he has been, and I expect him too.

 

Did Tomlin unintentionally give KP his nickname in that last game?
Is it KFP moving forward? I love it.

 

I think he said in the Browns post game presser that he hopes to host his off season training camp this year because as a rookie who wasn't starting it didn't seem right(Mitch having invited guys to Florida already) but he wants to get back into it.
