    oh how we forget.

He’s a quarter of the way.

15 straight until he ran into a spygate cheating franchise and then wins a Super Bowl.

The perfect season might get duplicated before that happens next.

I'm not sure which is funnier, your ridiculous over-reaction or somebody actually agreeing with you.

Man, that opener was a serious beating. That was Carnell Lake's first game in the NFL and I think he was the only Steeler to play worth a damn that day. The only other highlight was my cousin and I moving from our seats in the nosebleeds to the second row at midfield during the second half. I remember an usher coming up to stop us, then throwing up his hands and telling us it was fine as long as we didn't try to sit in the first row.

After the first few drives, yes, there were receivers open. It just wasn't happening until they were down by double digits.

He’s talking about Canada. Theres been rumblings of this before, DJ and Pickens aren’t happy with the schemes.

Look at that 2004 roster. Nine Pro Bowlers, three first team All Pros and three Hall of Famers. One can easily argue for a 4th HOF in Ward. And we haven’t even mentioned Farrior, Taylor, Bell, A Smith, Hampton, W Parker, Kiesel, Burress, Kimo. That team was loaded and a perfect place for a young QB to come in and succeed

And it still took a historical winning streak in year two to get into the wildcard, then win a game that was still close once Palmer was injured early AND a magical tackle by Ben in the 2nd round.

Purdy also has a wildly stacked team and I still don’t think he can do it.

Maybe he will though; I’ve been wrong before.

Some of those guys You just mentioned weren't even on that team at that time, or and some didn't even hardly play, and some didn't contributeat all.. LoL. It's so hard for some of You so called Steelers fans to give credit to Ben. LoL
How about let's look at this. Old a$$ Ben's last two years on this team with M. Canada on the team....scored 56 tds, and 20 ints. We've already passed the turnovers, but it may take 5, or 6 years to get the tds. How about that for prospective.

To be fair, Kendrell Bell was injured and on the tail end of his Steelers career. Conversely, Fast Willie was a rookie. The others were solid contributors and I would challenge anyone who says the 2023 roster is of the same quality. I’m not taking anything away from Ben and what he did. His body let him down in the end and not his skills or his football IQ. However, for every one Ben, there are 10 Sam Darnold(s) who were also talented but did not have the support system that Ben did

This is You, and a bunch of people's problems. You can't pick, and choose. This is like the dumb statement of saying if Marino was Here we would have more SB wins. LoL. Not a person knows that for sure.
We had Kordell, Batch, and Tommy play with those teams what did they do with that team before Ben got there???
Bell did absolutely nothing that year. I'm not sure He was even on the field once, and I believe Parker had a total of 186 yards ,and no tds. Kiesel wasn't anything but a special teams player.
Darnold sucks. He was a turnover machine in college....what GM thought a Qb that was a turnover machine at a major school playing nobodies was going to get better at it in the NFL blows My mind. This is problem with drafting Qbs by arm strength, and running speed. It's also the reason a guy like Purdy gets taken in the 7th in today NFL that is more concerned with athletic abilities at the Qb position then if they can actually play QB. It's the reason a Qb that sucked in College at a major school got picked in the 1st round this year. LoL

That is why there is reason to put part of the blame for Sunday's stinker on Canada. Pickett had time and nowhere to go with the ball multiple times on the first three drives. I think that is why he forced the ball to Johnson, which led to the interception when he fell. By the time Pickett actually had open receivers to throw to, the Steelers were down by double digits.

That was after they were down by double digits. The problem when they were digging that hole was that nobody was open. This is not excusing Pickett's poor play at all. It can both be true that the scheme is a problem and Pickett played poorly.

Sunday was a return to what we saw against Buffalo and Philadelphia last season. Pickett may be ready to do more this season, but we saw Sunday that he's not ready to carry the entire offense by himself.

I beg to differ. On his first interception the cb had outside leverage. In that situation kenny had to throw inside, but he went outside. Another 3rd down early he had dj open with nobody in front on a crosser(righ to left) and flat out missed. Missed another to muth…

    This.

Then again, this is another example of something being taken out of context. Yes, Pickett didn't play well but Canada is been terrible.

I bet Pickett won't go on a radio show and throw his teammates under the bus like Ben did .

Are you serious? Thinking Darnold wouldve been as good as Ben with a supporting cast? Wow, Ben really left a bad taste in your mouth. Do yourself a favor and watch Ben from his rookie season up to the end of his career on youtube. Than reassess your opinion.
