Kenny Pickett Thoughts

My concern with Pickett is that he’s shown absolutely zero progression this season over last season. In fact, he’s regressed in some ways. That’s a bad sign. You expect to see a first round quarterback show improvement in year two and Pickett has shown none. At the beginning of the season, I was putting most of the blame on Canada. I was wrong. Pickett is mostly to blame for his failings. Canada still needs to be gone and Pickett needs to be given an opportunity with a real OC, but he has real limitations. Maybe he truly is a high floor, low ceiling kind of QB as a lot of analysts were saying. At any rate, he’ll get year three with another OC to prove himself, but the Steelers need to be considering other options just in case.

 

Jordan Love looks like a different guy as the Oline is giving him plenty of time. Who knew a QB could succeed when he wasn't in a perpetual dire drill ??
