This is probably the worse offensive line in Steelers history with absolutely no running game and you expect Pickett to succeed. He makes great drives, but we get stuck inside the 30 because no running game

Let's look at three interceptions not his fault. Hail marry pass vs jets, out route that should have been caught, last week claypool had step on corner but falls

I was just thinking it would be great if they can get Lamar so they finally have a QB to fit Canada's system

Throwing interceptions more than TD for your first five years was the normal?.... dude you can't be serious.

So Tomlin and Canada do not do any type of analysis during or after each game to develop plans to improve or alter our trajectory? Isn't Tomlin the one who decides we go for an extra point kick vs going for two after a seldom achieved TD? Accordiing to you, the gum chewer is the one that decides what we do. Are you saying our HC has no say whatsoever on plays that should be called if what we are doing is not going well. Who is he talking to on the headphones when we have the ball? Is he ordering food for halftime or is he part of determining what needs to be done. Tomlin is polarizing because he lets people like Canada keep going down the wrong path. He is responsible for this teams performance although most keep saying its only Canada. Yes Canada's primary role is to coordinate the offense but he works for a guy that can change things at any time with just opening his mouth and talking. JMO>

Actually for nearly the entire decade of the ‘70s, QBs leaguewide threw more ints than TD every year. It’s a different game now, the league avg is abut 2TDs per pick. In the early ‘70: it was about 0.8 TDs per pick.

In 1970, there were 26 teams, only 10 threw more TDs than Ints.

You created a lot of fiction in regards to what I said. But since that's fair play, do you think many defensive head coaches are going to tell the OC what to call on routine plays? And did I say that Tomlin didn't have say in situational football circumstances? Good lord, man.

For Anyone wishing they had Malik Wilis instead of Kenny, Willis was 6/10
For 55 yds, no TDs and a pick. qB Rating of 35. But he won! Maybe because Derek Henry rushed for 219. People would feel better about Kenny, if the Steelers backs ran for 219.

Friction? I impress myself as I had no idea my post would cause this type of byproduct of talking about coaching and wasn't intended. I didn't mean routine plays. I was inferring to during games when the offense is not doing well and hasn't all year. Let's be a little realistic. Don't you think that after 16 years our HC knows something about our offense or offensive strategy or things that need to be done differently or players that need to go in for a change? Something, anything? I thought this was a commonsense idea. If not, sorry for your' being upset as I am not trying to piss anyone off. JMO>

Nice to see more passes to the MOF but that chart is still a disaster. The offensive philosophy is a **** show.

Today was Kennys first bad game. He had bad passes in his previous starts but there was good mixed in with it. Can’t recall any good today.

On the flip side, he has faced a gauntlet for his first three games of his career. It will start to get easier soon. We’ll see how he bounces back.

    6/10 for 55 yards 0 TD/1 INT 35.4 rating

    Obviously a bust

    But beat the Texans.....

Kenny got thrown into the fire.... not easy playing that schedule of games.

I'm not going to ever write off a Rookie QB, many have struggled their 1st years.

Even a lot of people where saying Jalen Hurts wasn't good, and he's in MVP conversation now.

But with how our defense is playing we probably get George Blanda into the MVP conversation....

Meh. Never made any sense to play Mitch. Wasting time they could be developing Kenny and seeing if he has a future here.

That’s a good point. The last 9 games have some very winnable games and sub par defenses. Really hope he looks better than he does right now.
