Outside of this website, I don't know Madden exists.

I still skip by his stuff on the Trib's website. I also see his Tweets when other local Pittsburgh sports guys are foolish enough to respond to his idiocy.

He just said it himself yesterday that if healthy he was going to start against Seattle.

I do remember him from NFL Films videos. I honestly assumed he was a Raiders fan.

The WDVE morning radio show does a lot of sports stuff and a variety of guests

I listen to it until it goes off at 10 am except Wednesday when I turn off at 9:45 because Madden joins them

There are times even the DVE guys want to cut off his mic

There's still some who believe it.

And that's exactly what he did.

He wants to be able to continue to pound home his belief that Pickett will never amount to anything and he might be right. That's why he will stay with any story that paints Kenny in a bad light. Worst case scenario for him would be KFP turning into a very capable QB for the Steelers.

One of the good things about not living in Pittsburgh is it is easier to ignore Madden most of the time.

Colin Dunlap steadfastly argues that Pickett will never be a good NFL quarterback and he shouldn't have been taken in the first round. He did that yesterday even as he defended Pickett and ripped Madden, insisting that Pickett was telling the truth. I don't think he mentioned Madden by name, but it was clear who he was talking about. It is possible to not believe in Pickett yet not be an unprofessional dirt bag about it. (To be fair, some of that was probably driven by Dunlap and Madden not liking each other.)
