LOL. Hate to break it to you, but you aren't in control of whether he gets to keep playing or not.....and nobody said he's arrived. I said he's going to be our QB for a LONG time and he will.

I'm not bashing Kenny. I think he does a lot of things well and I am more than happy to let him continue to develop. But everyone wants him to "arrive" as that cornerstone QB of the future and I don't buy that its happened yet. I think that he has the tools to do it, but I just don't see him as "arrived" yet. I love that he wins in the 4th. I love that he's tough. But there is still a lot he needs to improve on before we can consider him a league average QB or better. He's not quite there.

Pickett played a very good second half. The TJ INT gave us some juice without it not sure what happens because that offense was putrid in the first half. It would be nice if we could ever put together a full game. Maybe next week?

Things like "era is HERE" and "him being the big cat" are saying as much. I like the kid, but everyone is too hype when he plays a solid game. I think he is going to be a fine NFL QB, and I've never mentioned even once that we should move on or look elsewhere. But as a fan base we need to temper ourselves on solid outings and chill a bit on the bad ones. He's still only started 17 games.

 

Kenny look pretty good today. Stood in the pocket got blown up doing it thanks to the line and resorted to happy feet but hung in there down the stretch. The stupid penalties made it a step forward and 3 steps back affair most the game. Button that up and who knows.

Cananda is garbage tho for the record hahahahs

 

This team feeds entirely off the defense. When the unit plays well and creates turnovers, we tend to win. When they don't our offense is just too flat to pick them up.

The season is going to go through the defense yet again. Let's see how far they can take us.

He made more than two or three good throws today. He was impressive in the second half. The throw to Johnson to set up the tying touchdown was a thing of beauty, but so were many of the throws to Pickens. He has to do a better job under pressure.

The thing is, the running game didn't really get going until after Pickett hit that big throw to Johnson. That set up Warren's touchdown run. That drive seemed to spark the offense.

Look, KFP did a good job staying in pocket in 4 th qtr, all props to him. The young man made some progress, hopefully he keeps improving. IDC what team you play for you aren’t going to have 10 secs to pass every play. If he can read his progressions quicker and adjust blocking at LOS and quit the HFS and spinning back there , he will be fine.

They also utilized the middle of the field today! Makes a big difference, when you give your wrs a chance to get YAC!

 

One could argue that his effort to get to the 1 yard line instead of giving up and being at the 3 or 4 was one of the biggest plays of the game. Dude has a huge heart and loves being a Steeler. We just need him to run straight ahead and he's just fine.
