We faced two of the porous olines in the NFL the last two weeks and I don't think any of these guys made the stat sheet. Can anyone tell me why?

because 3-4 D-Linemen do not get many accolades the glory goes to the linebackers ....

at least 2 of the linemen on a properly working 3-4 are supposed to encompass 2 blockers that normally takes them out of the play , it is up to the linebackers to fill the gaps and make the plays at or behind the LOS that would normally be made by a 4-3 lineman

As I understand the concept of the 3-4 defensive lineman, I would expect with the level of talent they faced (Chargers oline and Cowboys Doug Free) they would have done more.

Chargers had 2 original starters and the Cowboys oline have been out right embarrassed this year. And we didn't sniff either quarterback. Maybe this thread should say Harrison, Timmons, Foote and Woodley(Worilds).

I would bet that half of Hoods tackles was three or four yards down the field and his sack was probably a dong sack as the quarterback ran out of bounds and didn't get back to the LOS.

Do you ever notice how our middle linebackers make tackles 4 to 5 yards past the line of scrimmage specially Foote?

They shouldn't have big stats, but they should create big stats for our LB's....where are the sacks and turnovers?
