Hasn’t been at practice since the 23rd with unexcused absences.

Can’t imagine him doing that, Drews last season and more importantly, the new CBA doesn’t allow him to hold out and still be a FA next season.

He is seemingly using an injury as cover but it’s a badly kept secret that he is withholding his services, ‘holding in’ I believe is the correct term.

He is wasting his time, Saints are facing absolute cap Armageddon next off season. They can’t afford to keep him at a fair price.

Are you confusing Kamara with Kareem Hunt?

There’s no way they are trading him. The woman who broke that story I believe is the same woman who broke the Rudolph used racial slurs against Garett last season.

    ZERO credibility.

In fairness to her she was only reporting what Garrett claimed during his appeal. Garrett apologised to Rudolph for it coming out which was very strange considering that Rudolph has supposedly called him a racial slur a week previously. Why would you apologise if it was true.

I don’t think they will trade Kamara either, it’s win or bust for the Saints this year and they need him. I can understand his frustration over the contract issue because he has massively outplayed his compensation since the day he entered the league but he has no leverage here. He will have to wait for free agency next off season.

RBs hold out at their own peril.

As Mick Jagger said in the Some Girls album.: they will come and they will go, just like street cars.

Enough people are reporting this now, might be true.

I’d give up a first for him but then you are right back in the same boat as Bell. They aren’t going to pay a RB that.

Actually, depending on the guarantee money, Steelers did have an offer for around 16 million for Bell, no?

We are in cap hell next year though, no way they can do this but would be great if they could.

No chance the steelers can afford Kamara, none. Saints can’t either, they’ll probably try to ride it out and keep him for 2020 because I can’t see them getting a first for him and I doubt they actually want to trade him.

If he does get traded, the Colts have the cap space to pay him and may see him as a missing piece and a proven weapon for Rivers behind one of the best lines in the league. He would be perfect there.

He is the type of RB you pay with his elite receiving skills. I still cannot countenance why the Saints paid Taysom Hill before Kamara. Madness

Kareem Hunt is the guy who was filmed decking a woman in a hotel. Kamara is a saint by comparison.

You don’t think a team would give up a first for him? I do, easily but I think that’s where any chance of obtaining him stops for the Steelers.

Steelers have shown they are willing to buck the trend lately but I think they like what they have at RB and more importantly, can’t afford Kamara.

Seahawks, Bears and Tampa could use him and I saw KC has 4th highest odds for landing him. Imagine him and Mahomes together, yikes.

Lev Bell situation all over again. No thank you. Would rather go after Fournette if they are interested in a non Steeler RB which I doubt anyways.

Welp, if the Saints intention was to scare him, it worked.

Tampa and Seahawks are really good fits actually. Bears have much more pressing needs. KC drafted CEH for that receiving back role, can’t see them giving up another first for Kamara.

We will see. I was thinking more of the bad teams that would need to give up a top 10-15 pick. That’s too rich for my liking

EDIT, Tampa and Seahawks can’t go there for cap reasons, at least not this season. Looks like he is probably staying put anyway which is probably what all sides wanted. I’ll be fascinated to see how they extend him with virtually no money to work with

Disagree with the Colts ..They just drafted Jonathan Taylor ,Who is a Beast...And still have Marlon Mack, who is "good"...

My opinion, Tampa Bay would be a great fit

It’s probably immaterial now but Kamara is a fit almost anywhere, there are very few teams in the league that wouldn’t be improved by adding an elite receiving back. It’s really just about who can afford a second contract for him after that.

Tampa has the least cap room in the league, they can’t afford his current $2m salary let alone an expensive extension, and any team that trades for him in theory has to extend him straight away.

Reason I said the Colts is that Mack is entering his last year and he is not even average as a receiving back, Kamara is a huge upgrade, and you don’t know what you are going to get from Taylor year one. Crucially, they have the best cap situation in the entire league and can afford a luxury pickup. They’ll probably also be picking in the twenties and may be comfortable giving up a first, much more so than say Miami who will probably be in the top 10.

    3 Reasons.
    1. Steelers fans want to sign everyone.
    2. Kamara is better than James Conner.
    3. To annoy you, Glemm.
