Young guy with some experience and good speed. Not a flashy signing, but a decent add. Has returned some kicks too.

He missed some time last year due to injury. He had decent stats in ‘21 and ‘22. Playing behind AJ Brown and Devonta Smith, he didn’t have a ton of opportunities.

We will still probably take a receiver in the 3rd or 4th

Still trying to wait out Boyd. He's not going to get his price, unless maybe he waits until season starts and there are injuries.

    And why not

At his stage of his career why spend time in OTA and camp if you don’t have to

Other than he might wind up unemployed

Just what they needed, another scrub receiver.

They had a breakdown of Ladd McConkey on the NFL Network this morning, I would really like to see him as a Steeler. He has great hands, runs great routes and runs a 4.38. The trouble is that we need a center even worse than a WR. If the Steelers pick an OT at #20 and at #51 McConkey and Zach Frazier are both on the board then you have to go with Frazier.

i still think it boils down to these guys all were fairly high draft picks and teams had higher hopes for them. they all have speed. most have size. they have all shown some glimpses. we have brought in a guy that is supposed to be the wr whisperer to coach them up to and reach their potential. most sat behind better receivers where they were before and now will have a real chance to show what they have. that's my take on this wr room right now. i like it more than most. i think it could be quite solid.

Wonder if this means Austin is out? Same receiver.

Maybe Khan is scrubbing the room of Colbert picks he doesn’t like.

Failing to sign one of the free agent centers was a huge mistake. Relatively speaking, Morse didn't even get that much money. Maybe the idea is to take whichever center is on the board at #20 even if they have to reach for Frazier, but that really limits their options.

We just needed bodies. We only had Pickens/Austin/Jefferson on the roster. Even with Watkins we are at 4. Mims and Callaway both had no stats in 2023.... had to add guys to compete for the bottom of the roster too. Right now Pickens/Austin/Jefferson are the top guys by a good bit and Jefferson/Austin combined for 36 receptions in 2023. We're still adding another (more proven) guy and likely a draft pick in the first 3 rounds too. That room is completely bare at the moment, which is why losing DJ is such a huge blow. I know we added to a CB room that needed help too (which is great), but there are still holes to fill at WR.

We also have some ammunition to trade up in round 2 if we want to target that round for our C. Its still risky for sure, but not totally out of the question.

It looks like he is reshaping the WR squad.
It's not a bunch that strikes a lot of fear into defenses

I really like this cleaning house stuff that's happening to the team. It was needed and it doesn't seem knee-jerky either - it seems logical and calculated.

Maybe at mid-year, Rooney told Khan "enough is enough - clean up this ****" and the process started with the Canning of Canada the Clown - CCC marked the started of the next era.

Damn, I really was hoping it would have been DJ Chark. I still think he is the best available Free Agent WR right now.

Mike McDaniel's said Sunday they made an offer to Odell last week when he was at Miami, but have not heard back from them. I wonder how much Odell is wanting to be paid?

3-4” taller and 28 pounds more muscle than Austin

I said back at the last draft Omar doesn’t like little people and he is making the team bigger one piece at a time

Allen Robinson 6'2 220lbs; The pickup seems smaller to me.

Robinson was cut to save $10 million in cap space, but I wonder if they could bring him back on the cheap side?

I saw an article that Watkins drops and fumbles the ball in key moments.
