K Lewis & W Allen

Well, my rant about that horrible FG fake has been discussed, so let me chime in with this one- Lewis & Allen have been surprising to me. For the most part Lewis looked bad to awful when he had been in the game, and as bad as Gay was I thought Lewis was a step down, but after thie past few games, and a couple of PI penalties Lewis is getting better and right in the middle of making plays. W Allen has saved us because Mundy was NOT the answer period! Allen is all over the field and in the middle of several plays as well. Just my two cents but I didn't see them amounting to good PS players, but its good to be wrong , and if their play continues it makes seeing Troy standing around a little easier to watch until he returns

 

Keenan Lewis played very, very well yesterday. If we keep playing this way, I see no reason to bring Troy back at all.

 

its too bad that Lewis apparently went to the same catching school as Ike did. Lewis has had his hand on so many passes, but just cant bring them in. i know Ike had a INT yesterday, but man did he fight it. it looked almost painful.

 

What does Lewis have to do with Troy coming back?
If Troy's healthy he starts, anything else is just silly to suggest!

 

they dont even play the same position. maybe he meant Allen.

 

I made two different points.

1. Lewis is playing well.
2. We're playing well on defence, and if we keep playing this way, I see no reason to switch anything up by bringing Troy back.

Call it silly all you want, but Troy is a massive liability in coverage and right now we're playing very good defence.

 

Lewis has definitely stepped it up and played well the past 4 or so games...before that he had a couple good moments but was pretty average...but now hes stepped it up. Same with Allen!

 

Most DBs are recievers that can't catch...aka Limas Sweed! Seriously, there are a few exceptions but when I watch other games I see quite a few INTs dropped but it hurts as the ones our DBs drop always come at a time when the team desperately needs a stop. The other part is they usually miss ones that are normally easy plays to make but as long as the secondary continues to improve we can live with a drop every now and again.
