People tend to forget he was a Top 15 selection. Barring extreme circumstances, talent like his simply doesn't vanish. Fields is beginning to revert back to what he was during his Ohio State days; a QB who his dynamic on the ground but has tremendous arm talent.

It is only going to get better from here.

Please just one time don’t defer the coin toss and take the ball and score first. Game was over before it even began.

I hope and pray we get that Fields week in and week out! He just about single handedly brought this team to victory!

He's the first QB that actually gave me hope that they could come back from behind at the end of a game since Ben left. It didn't work out that way today, but I can't blame Fields.

I am not a fan of Fields, but some kudos are warranted.
I just do not see him rising to level of Jayden Daniels or even Ben for that matter.
But at the same time, he's not horrible ie: Byce Young.
The injuries to key players are not doing him any favors either. It's like the Steelers pissed off some NFL God.

    Stat-wise
Fields has a 98 rating which ranks him 12th
    He's averaging 207.5 yards/game
He has the 6th best completion percentage at 70.6
He has 3TDs and 1 Int.. The 1 int is great 3 TDs is not good but that is not all on his shoulders.
He's 17th in attempts which isn't bad, you don't want him having to throw 50 times a game.
He's been sacked 10 times in comparison to Watson (19) isn't awful.

So, while I dislike him as a QB, even a blindman can see he's not the source of any woes.
An offensive line that has now lost 2 for the season, down to 1 RB and a practice squad RBI (pending the new injury updates) and still waiting for a legit 2nd WR to show up.. the deck is stacked against him.

I am skeptical but do try to be fair.
I cannot blame him for the losses.
I do think, the team has to play well around him... he's just not a QB that can pull off a Mahomes.

this just tells you how much the TEAM sucked this week

no one deserves a player of the week

but someone has to get a Trophy in 2024....

his 2nd half was much improved, fought us back into contention, so credit due.

It's Wildwood, NJ. Stupid young family members are messing with me and I'm letting them for awhile. I need to change my password.

You know that Uni-brow Flacco got the nod from Colts Digest. So very disturbing.

Wildwood is the only place I've ever been that when you get to the beach it's still a half a mile walk to the ocean.

We locals go no where near the Wildwood beaches. This is no joke, if it was not for dredging North Wildwood would not have beaches and Stone Harbor is in panic mode. My County is having a special hearing about global warming. It's happening and I'm watching with my own eyes. Yet the Wildwood beach is still a long damn walk.

Beach replenishment is kind of cool to watch. Amazing what our species can do.

We lost by 3 points to an NFL team

We most certainly did not play as well as we could/should but we most certainly did not suck

Pickens holds on to the ball properly and we win that game

Just one play and I can name 3 more

I know you like to be miserable but try to be honest

He did will them back but the 22 yard Diontae Johnsons run and fumble was ugly as it gets.

Hopefully under Smiths control he continues to get better.
