Justin Fields Breakdown

I don’t think this is a light coming on thing with Fiekds. There are many athletic QB’s who don’t pan out in the NFL because they don’t have or never have developed the ability to see the field and go through progressions.

A lot of physically inferior QB’s who have developed in this area go on to thrive. I really believe it is a skill set many of these coaches haven’t figured out how to coach up. I believe it is more of a hand eye and brain processing skill and going through the QB footwork and throwing mechanics is nice but what does that matter if the guy can’t process quickly and see the field?

Go study the race car drivers and fighter pilots and have your QB’s train the way those guys do to increase their hand eye coordination, spatial awareness and processing under intense pressure.

Go get or develop a virtual reality system they can train on to perfect this skill set. It’s at least worth trying to maximize their potential.
