Yeah, I think Steelers haven't won there since Neil O'Donnell 30 years ago. That was a great game.... high scoring.

    That game was damn exciting.
I wasn't sure if that was the last one but the one that came to mind.

Pickett broke the long time Raiders win streak in California over Steelers. Maybe Rodgers can do the same vs Bears?

I don't think Steelers will ever win again in Philadelphia. 1963 was last win.

    I would agree.
I think some axiom needs to be applied.
Rule 1 - Find a QB square 1. (that's not easy but if you have a need or see the need coming up, you should try get them on your roster.)

I think in our case, we have too much money allocated to defense.
It would be one thing if they were the Steel Curtain, but they are not.
We are paying top money for such a return.

On offense, the 2nd WR is a ridiculous situation. Ferchristsakes, get a WR!
Wilson's stock really plummeted Sunday.. he committed an error on the scale of Kaleb's screw up. I kind of wonder if he ever sees the field as a Steeler again.
Jacobi Meyers might become more of a thing now that they have Wilson's screw up and think they have a playoff team. Wilson might even be trade material.

You get the picture... I know it. :drinks:

Yeah, I agree with the return on investment with the defense. If we spend the money, we cant be bottom 5 basically in yards allowed. We're basically the worst pass defense in the league and a middle of the pack run defense. Not good enough. Bottom 10 in yards per play... woof. What's saving us is that we're second in the league in turnovers created... so that's great. But we live and die off the turnovers. The defense has enough money spent (and really, enough good players on it) to be much better in the other areas. I hope we figure it out before the end of the year. I don't think we have "too much" allocated, but at the same time the money will swing to offense soon enough. We have some young OL that will get paid, and hopefully we add a WR2 (either through the draft, or more ideally, through FA or trade). It will definitely swing back that way. With our pass rush situation, I really think an offseason trade of Highsmith can really improve the team where we need it. We either get a good WR or CB or something and offset that money. At this point, I'd like to see us pay the offense and start drafting the defense again... Just my opinion.

I hope we pull a WR in trade, but I don't want to overspend either. The FA market is viable for a WR2 next year. There's Dontavion Wicks, Romeo Doubs, JuJu Smith Schuster, Alec Pierce, Wandale Robinson, Rashid Shaheed, Jauan Jennings, Jakobi Meyers, Deebo Samuel, and Christian Kirk. All of which could be varying levels of fine at WR2 A/B with Calvin Austin. I would only trade more than a 4th rounder for Meyers or Shaheed, if and only if our plan is to sign them to an extension. I would be hesitant to trade any of our 3rds.

We could always pay him something as well, though I am not certain what his number would be.

I think they will be drafting one early.

I think we should consider drafting defense. I'd almost rather pay a WR than draft one (though if we end up with Carnell Tate, I won't be mad at all lol). I think an early CB, S, or DL would be just as impactful as an early WR, especially if we want to end up getting younger (and cheaper) on the defensive side of the ball. But we need big help at WR2 as well, so I guess I wouldn't complain with a WR pick. We have 72 million in space (and some room to operate). We need to make some additions for sure.
