I'm just curious if rs has ever posted something positive about the steelers? I honestly can't remember a single positive post by him. Not even a something that could be misconstrued as positive.

Good Ben shows up, we should be ok. But if bad Ben makes an appearance, oh man it's gonna be a long game for us. But you just never know.

 

Sounds like excuses to me, Joe Gibbs won 3 SB with 3 different QBs none of them franchise QBs. Tampa Bay won a SB with Brad Johnson, and Baltimore won a SB with Trent (freaking) Dilfer.

 

To be fair, the offense is now carrying the day. If Tomlin had THAT defense AND Ben in his prime...gives me chills just thinking about it, lol.

I think the Steelers know what's being said and remember they beat us last time, pretty nicely. I don't like the fact everyone has us heavily favored. We've had a tendency to blow games against inferior teams, but it's the playoffs if they can't get up for this then they never will. The Dolphins are a decent team they won't be a walkover.

 

Just as long as Tomlin doesn't let Ben go for friggin 2 after the first TD. Then we'll be chasing those points the whole game. Don't like when Ben goes for 2 points instead of kicking the extra point. Tomlin needs to put a stop on that unless we need to go for 2.

 

So do you think Cowher was overrated? That was the question. You do make a good point though. Some pretty sucky quarterbacks have won the Super Bowl.

 

Cowher was not overrated, he never had a QB. He got one and won the bowl. Went 8-8 afterwards with a weird Ben coming off of a head butting incident, and his wife with her sickness. Had he had a Ben throughout his career, yoi and DOUBLE YOI!!!

 

However, Cowher was a Marty ball disciple so who knows. Could close out a gMe like no other, but refused to throttle the opposition as well. He took the cuffs off of Ben year 2 and won the bowl. Seemed like they cuffed him back up for the bowl? Weird, but he was slinging on the road there

I know you've not been around as long as some of us so let me let you in on a little secret. He has literally never been right. Never. Not once. Not ever. So is a dead clock to be praised when it's right twice a day? No. It is to be thrown in the trash where it belongs.
